As Q3 begins, what better time to look back at one of our calendar highlights from Q2?

We are of course talking about the North Lincolnshire Business Awards. What an incredible night hosted by Anne Tate and the Hull and Humber Chamber team. With a Les Misérables theme giving the night a certain sophistication, complete with a performance from West End stars and the Grimsby Institute Performing Arts, it was fantastic to be there as part of the North Lincolnshire business community.

With 38 years now under our belts, for Victor Finance to not only be among friends, colleagues and long-standing clients but to be shortlisted alongside some of our fellow local businesses, and for the work we have been delivering for decades, was the icing on the cake of what has been a great year so far.

To take home the title of The University of Lincoln Small Business of the Year, it felt like finally, the work of our family-run business had been recognised, and really seen by the business community.

We’ve had some amazing engagement from people working within the industry that we haven’t heard from for a long time. To be recognised by our peers too has really put into perspective what we’ve managed to achieve. For us as a company and a team, this has helped us align ourselves with some of the businesses working around us and opened our eyes up to what we do on a daily basis and how we can add further value.
